One Journey / Our principles
Care, with
clear principles.
Clarity, curiosity, momentum, resonance and fluidity guide how we think, communicate and act.
Doing good should never
require blind trust.
Five principles guide how we think, communicate and act.
-
01
Clarity
Trust starts with understanding. People should know the issue, the action being taken, and the difference their support can make. Doing good should never require blind trust, so we communicate clearly about what we support, why it matters, and what each contribution helps make possible.
-
02
Curiosity
We believe better ideas begin with curiosity. Ask why, look deeper, stay open to new perspectives, and never be afraid to rethink what already exists.
-
03
Momentum
You may never know how far one action will travel. A contribution can spark a conversation, a conversation can shift a perspective, and a new perspective can change what someone does next. Sometimes the smallest action is simply where something much bigger begins.
-
04
Resonance
We want our work to mean something beyond the moment. In a world where attention moves quickly and so much competes for it, we want the causes we support to resonate — to create something people remember, reflect on, and carry with them long after they first encounter it.
-
05
Fluidity
The world changes quickly, and the way we help should be able to change with it. Sometimes the right move is to build something ourselves. Sometimes it is to fund, partner, amplify, respond, or simply step back and support people already doing the work. We stay open to where we are needed and adapt our approach to what can make the greatest difference.
